Key responsibilities of Product Technical Manager:
  • Preparation of Product Requirements Document (PRD) and providing inputs to Market Requirements Document (MRD)
  • Implementation of a quality product
  • Preparation and maintaining the internal product roadmaps and Release Plans
  • Responsible for the progress of the product development, maintenance and support operations
  • Product releases to customers
  • Optimizing utilization of resources
  • Responsible for each product through its life cycle
  • Providing product expertise support
  • Participation in RFx response teams
  • Understanding of market trends and market research
  • Managing the Product Architecture (if not the same person)
